Beth Blair is an award-winning freelance writer and former flight attendant turned inflight instructor. As a writer, she focuses on family travel (she is a mother of three), airlines, aviation, and lifestyle topics. Currently she is based in Minnesota and is author of The Unofficial Guide to Mall of America (Unofficial Guides, 2016), the first consumer guidebook ever written on the mall. She also authored Break into Travel Writing (Hodder-Stoughton and McGraw-Hill, 2012). Online she is co-owner of TheVacationGals.com: Adventures Away, Happiness at Home. She was the 2013 Shape Magazine Weight Loss Diary columnist and the 2015 Culturelle travel expert and spokesperson. Currently, you can hear her on several Twin Cities talk radio stations talking about Eustachi during commercial breaks.

In the 2016 Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) Central Chapter Writing Contest Beth won Bronze for her articles published in BBC Travel and AAA Traveler while TheVacationGals.com won Gold for Best Travel Blog/Website.
In 2012 TheVacationGals.com won Gold in the Travel Blog category in the prestigious 28th annual Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition presented by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation.
