Beth Blair launched her travel career in her early twenties and her writing career shortly thereafter. Today, this former flight attendant is a Twin Cities, Minnesota-based freelance writer and blogger specializing in lifestyle, bridal, culinary, spirits, parenting and travel, which runs the gamut from aviation topics to exotic destinations. Her articles have been featured in Aviation Security International, AirTran Airways GO, FoxNews.com, Hybrid Mom, Draft, Arizona Bride, Oro Valley/Marana, Tucson Bridal, Association News, Christian Science Monitor, Central Penn Parent, Long Island Mothers Journal, SheKnows.com, BabyZone.com and various other magazines and newspapers. Her work has also appeared in numerous anthologies, including the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, and she was named first-place winner in the 2010 Writer’s Market “Freelance Success Stories” contest.
Her strong online presence includes being a PBS SproutforParents.com travel expert, penning the monthly USA Tourist News Magazine for USATourist.com and, in the blog world, co-owning TheVacationGals.com where she writes about her travels and offers valuable insight and tips for hitting the road (and skies). The Vacation Gals are columnists for HybridMom.com, Homewood Suites’ SuiteTrip.com and they write for Fodors.com. The gals also recently launched TheSpaGals.com, a spa inspired website.
Beth enjoys sharing her insider’s perspective and knowledge on all aspects of travel. She is frequently quoted in the media, including Chicago Tribune, FoxNews.com travel, RealSimple.com and Woman’s Day magazine, and appeared on ABC-15 Sonoran Living Live in Phoenix, Arizona.
